USER SPECIFIC AND TRANSACTION SPECIFIC INFORMATION COLLECTED
“Producer” means a User who is providing food or other products for sale on the Website.
“Purchaser” means a User who is purchasing food or other products from Producers on the

Foodchain collects the following User specific information, depending on the role of the User as
a Producer or Purchaser on the Website:

- Weekly Spending on Food
- Percentage of Food Locally Sourced
- Current Vendors

Transaction Specific Information
When a Producer and Purchaser engage in a transaction on the Website, Foodchain collects
specific information about each transaction for recordkeeping and recall purposes. The
“Transaction Specific Information” collected includes the following:
- First Name of both Users
- Last Name of both Users
- E-Mail Address of both Users
- Address of both Users
- Phone Number of both Users
- Products Shipped
- Price Paid
- Date of Purchase
- LOT and Other Identifying Information

FROM FOODCHAIN’S INTERNAL DATABASE EVEN AFTER CLOSING THEIR
USE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
Foodchain uses the Personal Data collected on the Website to allow Foodchain to provide Users
with access to the Site and to ensure a User’s usage of the Site is in compliance with the Terms
of Service and any underlying agreements a User has signed. Foodchain may also use the
Personal Data to contact a User for a variety of reasons, such as but not limited to notifying a
user about use of the Website, offering additional products or services, or requesting feedback on
the Website or its related services.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
Foodchain may disclose Personal Data (and any other Transaction Specific Information) to third
parties under certain circumstances. Foodchain may disclose Personal Data to third parties if: 1)

subpoena, or request of the US Government or; 3) in the event of a recall or other issue with any

NON-PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
Other data that does not qualify as Personal Data because it cannot be used to contact or identify
Users (“Non-Personal Data”) may also be automatically collected about a User utilizing the
Website. For example, Foodchain uses technology to automatically collect Non-Personal Data
about the use of Website. This technology is used to track how many users access Website, the
date and time of their visits, the length of their stays, and which pages they view. Foodchain
may also use technology to determine which web browsers Users use and the address from
which they accessed the Website. The information collected using this technology does not
identify any User personally and is thus all Non-Personal Data that simply enables Foodchain to
compile statistics about Users and their use of the Website and related services. Foodchain uses
this Non-Personal Data and may share it with third parties to improve the content and
functionality of the Website, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our
products and services.
Foodchain may store certain information from a User’s web browser using “cookies” and Google

Website. Foodchain may use session-ID cookies to confirm that registered Users are logged in.

User and to allow Foodchain to better understand how User’s are accessing and using the
